On Friday, March 18, 2011, BET and Jingle Punks joined forces to host the Music Matters showcase at the iLLmore Mansion in Austin, TX. The showcase was a part of Jingle Punks’ SXSW festivities and announced the partnership of BET and Jingle Punks, which features a BET specific music library, “The Collection”. Jingle Punks was able to take advantage of having some of the hottest new artists performing at their SXSW event thanks to Apogee. With the use of the Apogee Ensemble, Jingle Punks was able to set up a mobile recording studio inside a (huge) walk-in closet at the mansion and capture vocals from up-and-coming artists Shawn Chrystopher and The Kid Daytona only moments after their sets had ended. Jingle Punks' CEO Jared Gutstadt adds, "Without the Ensemble interface from Apogee, this innovative event would never have been possible."
