Apogee’s Duet wins Mix Foundation TEC award in “Digital Converter Technology” category PDF Print E-mail
AES Convention, San Francisco, October 3, 2008 - Apogee’s Duet audio interface won the prestigious TEC award in the “Digital Converter Technology” category during the Mix Foundation’s 24th Annual Excellence & Creativity Awards show. Other interfaces nominated in the Digital Converter Technology category included, Digidesign Mbox 2 Micro, MOTU 828mk3, PreSonus FireStudio Project, Prism Sound Orpheus, TC Electronic StudioKonnekt. This is the 15th TEC award for Apogee products. The ceremony, held at the Weston St. Francis in San Francisco, also featured a Hall of Fame induction for uber producer, writer, musician, T-Bone Burnett and the presentation of the Les Paul Award to the multi-talented Ray Benson, founder of the legendary country swing band Asleep at the Wheel.
