Apogee’s giveaway and special guest performance with Slipknot’s Corey Taylor at this year’s NAMM 2010 show proved to be a huge success! Thank you from all of us at Apogee to those who attended and participated in the giveaway.

APOGEE GIVEAWAY WINNERS

The Grand Prize of an Apogee GiO, Apple Logic Studio and Gibson Les Paul Studio Guitar went to Thomas Dew from Hollywood, CA. Runner-up prizes went to Paul Cassarino from Northridge, CA, and Don Swanson from Corona Del Mar, CA, who won an Apogee ONE and Duet, respectively.

Thomas Dew was excited to be the recipient of Apogee’s Grand Prize, and as a school teacher by day, recording musician by night, we couldn’t have drawn a better winner if we tried. “It’s awesome!" Thomas says. "I'm having a lot of fun using my GiO, and we're getting really cool tones on our new tracks! GiO Rocks!!" His band, A Million Seeds, can be found on MySpace.

Apogee user and Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor kindly spared some time to stop by the Apogee booth at NAMM on Saturday to play Gibson’s new Dusk Tiger with GiO and GarageBand.
